Description
Simon & Garfunkel are the iconic singer-songwriter duo consisting of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. With 6 studio albums and a collection of some of the most memorable and significant singles of all time, including, Bridge Over Troubled Water, I Am a Rock, Homeward Bound, A Hazy Shade of Winter, Mrs. Robinson, The Boxer, Cecilia, and Scarborough Fair/Canticle, just to name a few, the duo have received serveral Grammys and are inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their music was featured in the landmark film The Graduate, propelling them further into the public consciousness.
They have reunited on several occasions since their 1970 break up, most famously for 1981’s The Concert in Central Park, which attracted about 500,000 people. Their last appearance in Vancouver was in 1983 when they sold out BC Place Stadium.
