Description
An all-Russian concert featuring Tchaikovsky's strident Marche Slave (Slavonic March) and Prokofiev's imaginative fantasy Peter and the Wolf, in which various orchestra instruments play all the main characters in the classic fairy tale.Maestro Bramwell Tovey conducts.

Description
The magnificent Orpheum is one of North America’s finest concert halls. Built in 1927, restored in 1977 and acoustically upgraded in 1995 and refurbished in 2009, it is a designated National Heritage Site. Home to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Bach Choir, Vancouver Chamber Choir and Vancouver Cantata Singers, the Orpheum seats 2,688 patrons.
