Connect With Vancouver Foodster: Wednesday, November 23

What better way to spend an evening than taste-testing your way through Vancouver’s iconic Chinatown neighbourhood? Call it “research and development” and fill your belly at the same time with this food extravaganza presented by Vancouver Foodster. From modern Asian cuisine to delicious desserts and steaming hot hand-crafted coffees and traditional Chinese tea, you can experience the best of Chinatown and observe how other restaurants operate and market themselves.

Vancouver Foodster is a fabulous connection to Vancouver’s current restaurant scene, keeping locals and visitors in the know about the hottest places to check out. Restauranteurs can take part in Vancouver Foodster’s regular Tasting Plates events as a way to drive business and spread the word about their eatery.

Make key connections and check out what these Tasting Plates events are all about by taking part in the upcoming tour. Participating eateries are:

Klaus’s Kaffe Haus - Austrian cuisine and some pretty fantastic hand-made strudel

Lisa Lou’s Chocolate Bar - Handcrafted chocolate, caramels, ice cream, oh my! Plus pastries and espressos

Treasure Green Tea - Learn from a second-generation tea master at the city’s very first authentic Chinese tea shop

Le Tigre Cuisine Food Truck - Modern Asian food with a twist

Propaganda Coffee - Elysian and Phil & Sebastian coffee served with style

Your ticket includes tasting plates at each of these locations, and must be purchased online here, which includes a map and links to all of the restaurants’ websites. You are welcome to compliment your tasting plate with a glass of wine, beer, a cocktail or cocktail where available, at cost. Tickets are $45 per person if purchased between November 10 and November 20; tickets purchased after November 20 go for $60. Once you purchase your ticket online, you will get a digital ticket to show at a Chinatown location (still to be determined), and exchange it for your Tasting Plate Passport and menus.
